Scan/ File Transfer background process.

Hi Team,

Wondering if its possible to make the scan progress and file transfer background processes so you are still able to interact with the main application. ive been using this program for well over 10 years and i do remember a time (unsure of version) where i could still double click missing and it would open the browser, so there was still some form of interaction with main window. This appears to have disappeared in later versions. Now, for me anyway, im unable to use the applicaion if a scan is in process or its transferring files.
